Christmas coming soon

In December there are a number of exciting activities that will lead us into the Christmas break. As a school we have the pleasure of attending the Brantford Galaxy Cinemas as a part of our Movie Day school trip. This will take place on December the 8th, and many of our students are eager to see the show. The grade seven classes continue to work hard on their Air Bands/ Lip Sync presentations that are quickly approaching. This will fulfill the dance portion of this subject before we continue in other areas of athletics. Many students have asked about the possibility of beginning basketball! It will be early in the new year so polish up those dribbling skills and we'll see you then!

In November the 7-1 class has some exciting events planned. As a school we are taking a trip to the Ontario Science Centre in Toronto! The body works exhibit will be educational and thought provoking. We are happy to have such a rare opportunity to take this in. Please help remind students to bring in their permission forms ASAP. We will take part in a number of remembrance day activities including a poster competition and Remembrance ceremony.

Rolling through October

This month has been very exciting at JC Hill and in the 7-1 class. We have had a successful bake sale and Dance-athon as well as making some excellent progress in our classroom. In Phys. Ed we will take on some new challenges such as an introduction to volleyball and interesting presentations regarding drugs and peer pressure.
November will be here before you know it!

Posting a blog is something I have not done a lot of in the past. That having been said I will do my best to keep everyone up to date with the information and events of both our 7-1 class and in Phys. Ed.

Please take a chance to read through the yellow hand out for the upcoming Science/Health field trip. This trip promises to be educational and exciting for all those involved!
Please help us fund raise to make this trip a reality!
